Dogstival has just gone barking mad! We’re tail waggingly happy to have team up with presenter, writer and broadcaster Anna Webb who will be hosting the Dogstival Lounge next May. For those of you who don’t know, the Barking Blonde and her partner in canine crime Joanne Good, host Europe’s only dedicated dog talk show on BBC Radio London. What great news for our event?!

To say Anna is totally bonkers about dogs would be an understatement. She’s appeared on numerous TV and radio shows and written pages of thought-provoking common sense in a host of canine and health magazines, including Your Dog, The Good Vet & Pet Guide, The Independent and Animal Therapy Magazine.

The thirteen years she shared with her beloved Mini Bull Terrier, Molly, best represents her lifelong passion for dogs. Training the only breed the legendary Barbara Woodhouse said was impossible to bring to heal. Anna and Molly broke boundaries competing at Canine Freestyle (doggy dancing); agility and showed Molly at Crufts.

Anna is also much more than a radio doggy diva. She’s earned serious treats by studying at the College of Integrated Veterinary Studies (CIVT) and specialising in natural holistic health care. Combining her Psychology degree, this offers a more holistic view to help dogs and their owners, fusing training and behaviour, environmental factors and natural nutrition, something at Dogstival we feel passionately about too.

The Dogstival Lounge is set to host guest speakers from across the canine world. You’ll hear from behaviour specialists, conservation groups, leading vets, our supporting charities like Canine Partners and the amazing work they do, and of course the newly anointed Chris Packham CBE …..maybe the odd special guest or two as well!! So, who better than to host proceedings than the Barking Blonde

We’re delighted to have Anna joining us and can’t wait to hear her stories but also find out more about her latest ‘crush’ Prudence a Mini Bull puppy and Mr Binks her re-homed English Toy Terrier. Perhaps a surprise is that the pack leader is Gremlin, Anna’s stray street-cat, who’s learnt some tricks and thinks he’s a dog!
